I need your opinions. What do you think?

By Christian Ducasse

The following text is by Werner Ehrard and is included in Michel Trudeau’s book « Pour en finir avec the Psy», published by Boreal in 1995. Here is a printout of the text:

« If you could really accept that you are not well, then you could stop proving you are well. If you were able to stop proving that you are well, you could understand that it is not too serious to feel unwell. If you could comprehend that feeling sick is not that serious, you could come to the conclusion that you are as well as possible, given your condition in life. Do you get it? »

I like Werner Erhard’s way of thinking and I agree with him.It seems that I was and am more well than I thought. Do you see what i mean?...so the ball is now in my court...what is your opinion? Do you have one? You haven’t thought it over....so send me your comments to my email address at Christian.Ducasse@gmail.com or leave a written message placed in an enveloppe addressed to me at the ressource centre. If they so desire, users and personnel will see their responses published in the Wellington Sun. An attractive door prize will be drawn from among the respondents. Start writing!....Christian Ducasse.

Giving one’s utmost

By Alain Daigneault
Translation : Valérie Fauteux

It pays to do your best and give everything you’ve got in all areas of life.

The fewer decisions you have to make, the more profitable it is.

A root’s depth determines how much effort it takes to uproot it. What I mean is: just as a root grows in the soil, to be productive, decisions must be well thought out, made in a short time, and firm. The soul represents the recipient, thus the maximum depth available to the root as it beginst to grow. Above the earth, the height of the trunk is a proof of the soul’s loftiness.

In a sport, the trunk’s height can represent the summit of intense physical activity. This is what I experienced last friday on the soccer field. The athletic performance needed to reach a winning perfomance level for my team, gave me confidence needed to pursue my goals.

Description de l’entreprise

A well deserved word of thanks!

I have at heart not only the smooth functioning of the Wellington Center and acknowledging the personal investment of the staff but also the people who occupy the positions by means of Emploi-Quebec and those who volunteer.

I must say what a pleasure it is seeing so many at the center give generously of themselves to the Wellington Center and I would like to acknowledge their contributions:

Since June, the boutique has been open every thursday, friday and saturday. The following people have worked at one time or another in the boutique: Paul Colford, Simone Brissette, Alain Daigneault, Germaine Thibert, Jean Laroux, Ellen Glendenning, François Guay, Christian Ducasse, Valérie Lamirande et Monelle Blouin also underlined are the volunteers who have given one day each: Marie Parée, Jean-Denis Proulx, Suzanne Martineau and Léon Lupien des Impatients and Gregory Rodd. The following folks have also donated their precious days off: Barry Crago, Patricia Kaouk, Nicole Andrée Gay. Valérie Lamirande who is also supportive and referred Monelle Blouin, a calm and positive volunteer to us.

At the reception desk, Paul Colford, Sylvain Descostes, Stéphane Orsini, Simone Brissette, Alain Daigneault, Christian Ducasse et Nicole Andrée Gay who fill in by taking calls and greeting the visitors.

Finally we also benefit because of the work in the cafeteria:

We must mention the contribution of Carol Gregory who for 3 weeks this summer has energetically worked at the cash, always friendly and polite, Melina Romano, Suzette Andrews, Clifford Nichols and Liliane Hamel who have worked as support staff for Hazel.

Thanks to the ladies and gentlemen who work the boutique, the reception desk, communication services, typing and creative writing, the cafeteria plus the well run resource center which offers its services to all those who access the Wellington Center.

Bravo for all your remarkable participation and service!

At last, with respect and infinite thanks,
Sincerely to you all,

Nicole Andrée Gay, Counselor for work adaptation Program PAAS ACTION chief
