Last may 25, a few artists participating in Fenetre des Arts Culture Verdun visited Room 107 in Wellington Centre to speak to journalists on hand. A well-known Verdun artist, Juan Cristobal Raggo, had his paintings on exhibit there. The art work of Linda Robidoux, Frances Skerritt, and Christian Ducasse added a pleasant note to the event.
According to Joey, the Fenetre photographer, there were many visitors and much conversation about the paintings. Laurent De Backer, present at the event, reported that: « Thanks to this event, Wellington Centre is becoming better known and has made a real success of the project begun at the end of last winter. Let’s hope that Wellington Centre’s outreach to the community surrounding it will continue to grow in the coming years.
